It seems that I’ve been playing around again. Without realizing the consequences of changing the DNS on my old blog to accommodate my new online portfolio, I totally lost my old blog. Enter the new incarnation of Not a Lazy Suzen with its very own domain and everything! I think things will be better this time around, for sure.
Since I last updated my blog, a ton of stuff has happened. I went to Nova Scotia for a month to visit my family and then we all packed into a car for a week-long trip to Newfoundland. My time in Newfoundland was short but left a pretty great impression on me. This was the first time that I was in my home province in over six years! So much had changed but at the same time so much hadn’t. It’s a little weird walking around the city and towns of my childhood, as if I’m wandering about in the middle of dream–familiar with my surroundings but not quite connected to them.

And with that, ladies and gents, I’ll leave this post alone. Expect more activity around these parts as I gear up for the end of term. Lots of new artwork will be kicking around!
